The RLC ‘41 Willys Gasser is an over-the-top, ridiculous model. I could only make an over-the-top video to showcase it.

Gassers are naturally bonkers. Nothing is aesthetically right about them. But that is what makes them so wonderful. A car this nuts needs a matching deco, and Hot Wheels gives them to us. And the ‘41 Willys gets it all. It is a complete stunner, enameled to look like it sits under a layer of glass. It needs to be opened.

The attention to detail that Designers Brendon Vetuskey and Steve Vandervate gave the casting and deco, respectively, put this model on another level. From Brendon’s opening hood and stance to Van’s burn treatment on the headers – a first on a Hot Wheels as far as I know – it is one of the most detailed Hot Wheels models I know of.

And in this Hot Wheels Gasser world we live in, it becomes an instant must. When the RLC has already given us the Candy Striper and Supernova, it is hard to know where the Willys will ultimately sit, but I think any Hot Wheels fan will know this model is a must.

Here is my video feature, unnecessarily enhances with dramatic music and lighting. It deserves it. Photos are taken, and are coming.
