  1. It must be challenging for Hot Wheels to come up with cars that seem special but are no different than the other mainline cars (other than the packaging). There is nothing that catches my eye in this batch – none of the tampos have any Chevy historic authenticity whatsoever. Seems like they could have come up with something a little more interesting for the 100th Anniversary of Chevy Trucks.

    1. Agree with JBH6666, nothing says 100th anniversary for Chevy about these decos. I’m certain Chevy had a say in these designs, but nothing makes them special. These could have easily been packaged as mainline decos.

      Still good looking trucks though.

  2. I wonder if the ’83 Silverado is going to be the one to get?.. seems it has been one of the most sought after as far as trucks go. That 1500 IMO is going to be the least favorite considering it looks like it’s aimed at 5 yr olds.
Now we’ll have to see if some WM’s carry very little or they’ll be plastered all over!

  3. These are just ok…I see maybe 4 of the 8 that I’d pick up. Like JBH and David above said, the decos don’t seem particularly special or authentic considering such an important milestone. To each their own though.

  4. I’m probably not one who should comment on these, as I’m not much of a truck guy. But I have been known to buy a truck on a very rare occasion and there is nothing here crying out “must have”. I can at least say beautiful card art.
