Tomica Limited Vintage has found a little groove for 2016. It seems that this year it wants to bring back some old faves and introduce a few new Europeans.
The October 2016 batch has been announced, and that is completely the case. The Honda Ballade Sports CR-X returns for a second time in 2016, and after a long gap, so does the Subaru Legacy. Both are most welcome, and are bound to be gobbled up.
But the most interesting aspect of the October batch is most definitely the introduction of the Fiat Panda.
Who knows what process the TLV folks use to pick a model, but a ’96 Fiat Panda is a very interesting choice. It is wonderfully random, and the model looks amazing.
There are still two 2016 batches to be announced, and based on what we have seen so far, it is anyone’s guess what is next. No doubt it will be interesting.
