First the teal Civic, then the red 620, then Batch F, and now another upcoming recolor to look forward to.
The R34 Nissan Skyline has been all over the place in the last couple of years. After its debut a few years ago, the fantastic mini-godzilla vanished. But since last year, we have seen three colors in 2013, including a zamac exclusive, we have seen it in the Fast & Furious set, and now we have a second color for 2014.
And we are not complaining. The R34 deserves some love. It is a major player in the Skyline legacy, and if the hype surrounding the R32’s entry into the US is high, wait until the R34 becomes legal after 25 years. It is still a fantastic looking car. And the Hot Wheels rendering is superb.
So here it is in blue. Just before the first 2014 version in black, the tool was modified to include a metal spoiler instead of plastic, and that is obviously the same here. We will happily take this model in blue. But then again, we will take it in any color…
It looks stunning better in blue. Instead of getting the D case black version (since I didn't want to get it in case there was a recolor), I knew there'd be the recolor. I didn't mention about that I knew it would be in blue. I just said that I knew there'd be a recolor.
It's still awesome. Since now it's the second time the Skyline is done in a blue paint.
I liked it better when it had the plastic wing. I also think they need to put better designs on it, I like the car, but the decals aren't very good. Maybe when I see it in person I'll like it better.
is this a stock model or does it have modifications installed?
Its both stock and modified. Depends on which way you see it. If you mean modified as in customized, then no. If you mean modified over the actual stock R34, then yes. I assume you don't know the truth so let me help you out. This is the Nismo Z-Tune version. So this Nismo Z-Tune is to the Skyline R34 as AMG Black Series is to Mercedes. I hope that clears it.

I think this new release of the Skyline in the bayside blue colour looks much better than the one in the deep blue colour, but I don't really like the rims and vinyls its has.
