It takes a lot of effort from the author of this post to not call these models Kyosho. Because they are Kyosho. But really they aren’t Kyosho. But they came from the Kyosho factory. The baseplate says Kyosho. Alas, they are not Kyosho.
But coming from the Kyosho factory means the same tools and detail have gone into these “Dealer” models. Just like the 12-car set done for the Pagani (the silver was featured here at Lamley), we now have a 12-car set
featuring the new Porsche 911 Carrera 4S. There have also been previous sets featuring the Nissan GT-R and Lamborghini Murcielago R-GT. The word on the street is that another Dealer set will be out soon featuring the new Beetle.
Let us take a moment and thank our lucky stars for this little piece of real estate in China that is churning out such amazing stuff. Between these dealer models and the Kyosho sets, I am going to go broke. But it is sure fun acquiring these. Right now I still pick one or two models from each set (Felix at DMC is good about offering singles), but it might not be that long before I start pursuing the sets. These models are just too good to pass up. And how mad am I that I wasn’t into these models when they were producing beautiful Skylines…
Enjoy all the detail on these amazing Porsches, and go pick up a set or a single from DMC’s website or ebay store…
