First Look: Hot Wheels Boulevard ’77 Pontiac Firebird T/A…

This may not be a First Look for all here, as this batch has just started to hit the stores, but this is such a cool model it merits a post.

Here we have the HW 77 Firebird, not to be confused with the Hot Bird.  The ’77 casting is definitely more sporty than the Hot Bird, and I don’t think it gets any better than straight black with gold trim, a la Smokey and the Bandit.

This model debuted a couple of years ago in the Modern Classics line, and has not been seen again until now.  Really too bad, as I think it is the best Firebird casting they have done.  (Although maybe you argue that this version is so good that we don’t need another one.)

I don’t anticipate this one staying on the pegs long, so remember you can grab the Firebird and many other models over at Wheel Collectors, where this and many more models are available at very fair prices.  And remember to mention the Lamley Group upon checkout to get 10% off your entire order.

  1. Very nice but the 100% Cool Collectible, Black Box, Black T/A reigns supreme, but it is a different price point.

  2. Nice car but why stretch the photos? The 100% Cool Collectible Black Box Black T/A is the bench mark but it is at a higher price point.
