March Madness may be here, but we’re still all-in on the diecast news. So put those brackets down and get your wallest ready to pick up some more zamac as we cover what’s new this week in diecast.

- Sorry folks, Contest is Closed. Moose out front shoulda told ya.
IMO, Greenlight hosts the best social media contest. From trivia to photo contest, they post a ton of great contest. This time around it was a photo contest for St Patty’s Day — i.e. green-themed.
The contest closed today and there were some great entries, but Rockkicker.diecast on IG took home the big prize, with Charles Sumardi and Robert Oper taking home second and third place. Congrats everyone – the photos look great!

2. Lamley Sneaks more Peeks
This week the Lamley Group dropped a new preview video with Hot Wheels designer Rob Matthes for a look at several new models – both licensed, double-licensed (car and livery are both licensed), and a fantasy casting.
The castings included a new M5, s2000, M3, a handfull on new Toyota trucks, and one of the coolest new releases, the fantasy funny car named Robbin’ Pinks. A fresh look at some of HWs’ new F1 premium line were also shown, including their great new packaging.

The screen grabs of some of the new models are nice, but you’ll definitely want to check out the video for a closer look at some of these:
3. Ride the Bull, Get the Diecast
Lionel Racing sent out an email last week with some great news for NASCAR fans: Redbull cars are back! That’s right – Redbull F1 cars aren’t the only Redbull diecast you can snag this year — you can also order the badass Trackhouse Redbull Chevy Camaros of Connor Zilisch and Shane Van Gisbergen. They are available for preorder on their website for a very reasonable $10.99 each.

4. It’s a Ferrari, Ferris
Mattel aren’t the only ones getting to ride on the prancing horse — this past week Tarmac Works released some preview shots of two new castings in the form of a beautiful 1962 250 GTO and a more modern 2020 Roma.

These two releases are actually Tarmac collab cars that Centauria and IXO Collections are actually producing. According to Tarmac’s IG post, they are scheduled for release in August of this year. IDK about you, but I for one need to snag that 250 GTO .
5. SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY! Or Saturday works too
Whether you’re 5 or 105 years old, monster trucks really know how to get the blood pumping. Lucky for us monster truck fans, Hot Wheels is back for another year of their Monster Truck Live Glow-N-Fire tour.

The tour gives fans of all ages a closer look at full-scale Hot Wheels monster trucks like Bone Shaker, Gunkster, Mega Wrex, and of course Bigfoot! These are great events for families and individuals alike and the tour is has stops all across the US, so be sure to check out their ticket page for a list of shows near you.
