Matchbox Monday continues with a rundown of the 2021 Line Preview

It’s that time of the year again. With the unfortunate cancelation of the Matchbox Gathering in Albuquerque, we were able to piece together a small momento of what usually happens in the convention. The annual line preview. With thanks to John (my other half at the Lamley Group) who hosted, and Jim Gallegos/Abe Lugo, we were still able to create a virtual line preview via zoom to the people who were scheduled to attend the convention. John has made the video live, which you can view by clicking here, but if you prefer to just read up instead, I present a run down of what the line preview entailed.

We began with a brief message from John welcoming us to the preview, and then it was handed over to Jim who was able to showcase this year’s convention models. These have already been shown on my previous post. After that, we were then passed over to Abe Lugo from Matchbox who presented us with a preview of what to expect from 2021.

His first port of call was to remind us of the @matchboxworld Instagram account, which will be of particular use to us in the near future as we will be needing him to pass on more information for items that I will get to shortly. If you are on Instagram, make sure to follow the Matchbox account. It will definitely be worth your while. He then proceeded to pass on a short message from the marketing team, which was to let us know that in 2021 there will be a deeper variety to the Matchbox brand. There will be a world building playset line, which I am sure we will hear more about as we get closet to the launch. Packaging itself will receive a change, which we will notice when 2021 product starts hitting the stores. Or via new online content, more of that to come. But then the part we were all waiting for. 2021!

It began with a brief rundown of what the 2020 basic range will look like. The Bugatti Divo and LEVC London Taxi were not shown in the 2020 mixes, but we are assured that they are still coming and should be in the last mix of the year. However, nothing was mentioned about the Western Star 4900 which should have been in batch D. But I have it on good authority that it is still coming, but may have been nudged into the first batch of 2021. We then saw a sizzle (as they call it, a video rundown of the new stuff) before Abe launched into the new castings. He started with the Matchbox originals castings. There will be 4 new castings for 2021.

The first is called “Rescue Dasher Fire Truck”. This picture is just to give you a rough idea of the look they are going for with it. It is not the GMC pictured here. It will be something along these lines.

The second Matchbox Original will be called “MBX Chow Wagon II”. It will be a new casting, and not an off-shoot of the previous Food Truck, which recently had its name changed to Chow Wagon. The wheels will be noticeably smaller on the new vehicle too.It is not the exact vehicle shown above.

We will also be receiving an airport service vehicle that will be called “MBX Mini Service Truck” Again, not this exact vehicle, but something along those lines. Abe also mentioned that the plan is for a dual casting for this vehicle too. The rear area which holds luggage will be either empty, or will in fact be carrying some luggage on it. Something to keep us variation hunters occupied.

Finally, we will be getting a “Road Stripe King”. Again, it is not a GMC. It is a Matchbox originals creation along these vague lines. But this is going to be a fun little casting. On the top of it will be a hole. This hole just happens to be about the size of a crayon. If a child was to put a crayon in the top of it, and roll the truck along a sheet of paper, it will be leaving behind a line, much like the real vehicle does. Oh this is going to be a lot of fun. I might even have to invest in some crayons when the model is released to showcase its hidden talent. Talk about thinking outside of the box on this one.

But that is it for the original designs. Or is it? I will get to that in a minute. But first, a run down of the licenses that they have secured for 2021 for the basic range.

First up is the 2019 Bentley Bentayga. Abe made mention that it was almost in the 2020 range, which means that this is more than likely going to be a part of the first batch of 2021.

We will also be getting a 1957 Dodge Sweptside D100 Pickup. It was chosen specifically because of the side rear half which looks almost like a car side, thus making this quite an unusual and standout pickup to replicate.

Next up is the 202 Honda E. Matchbox believes it is important to include electric vehicles in the range, and this one is a little cutey. I am really looking forward to getting this when it comes out.

Another one I think could be pretty popular is the 2020 Audi TT RS. Finally, a new Audi again, and it is nice to bring back a more modern version of one that was around at the start of the century.

The 1962 Plymouth Savoy is one that Abe personally was excited to include. This has quite the unique look to it too making it stand out from the rest. You have to remember that when Matchbox comes up with these choices, they have to try and envision all the vehicles sideways on in the packages and try to ensure that the silhouettes for them are different enough to make them stand out.

Another classic, but a bit more modern is the 1994 Lexus LS400. It is also good because this is assurance that the Toyota license is back with them again, after losing it for a short while. Lexus is the luxury off-shoot of the Toyota brand.

But of course we also get Toyota too. This one is a real throwback to the past. Matchbox are currently looking at vehicles from the history of the brand with a view to bringing back licenses for ones again. We have seen a few recently in the Moving Parts series, like the 1980 Porsche 911 Turbo, 1982 Datsun 280ZX, 1964 Pontiac Grand Prix and 1965 VW Type 3 Fastback. But we will also be seeing nods to the past in the basic range too. The 1984 Toyota MR2 will be a brand new casting, and not an attempt to rebuild the classic Universal era model. I’m just hoping we get a little more action out of the new one than we did with the old one.

They know people like wagons, so a brand new wagon is coming for 2021. This is the 2020 Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake, to give it it’s official title.

Of course, with a brand new Land Rover Defender being launched, Matchbox had to get a model of it. The 2020 Defender 90 (the 2-door variant) will be coming in 2021.

This is one that they snatched away from the other Mattel-owned brand. Well not really, but they want to have a complete variety in the Matchbox range, and so sometimes this means a model that may feel like it could have gone the other way. A 1979 Chevy Nova.

But they also like to have a very wide variety of models, and so with this one have gone well in to the past with the 1934 Chevy Master Coupe.

Another Toyota, this time the 2018 Hilux. Abe made mention of it being specifically a Euro-spec look to the model to try and counter all the US-spec pickups in the range. As the range is worldwide, it does help to try and utilize some non-US spec models.

Next up on the list is the 2020 McLaren 720s Spider. A lovely sporty vehicle and it is great to see Matchbox finally able to add some super cars to the mix like this.

Next up, the 2019 Fiat 500 Turbo. We had a Fiat 500X a few years back, but I know quite a few people wanted to more regular version too. I am very happy to see them add that one to the range.

Next up is the 2019 Subaru Forrester. We have recently started seeing an influx of Subis in the range, with 2 police cars, and recently a classic Sambar and SVX. It is nice to see a modern Subi added too.

On a personal note, this is the start for me. I know I am not the only one who has been wanting to see a classic Ford Capri return. This is a real nod to the past as Lesney created one in 1971. This is specifically dated as a 1970 Ford Capri, so obviously the first generation. Will it be purple or orange (if orange coming with a black hood) at any point? I am hoping. But I am absolutely loving seeing the Capri return.

Next on the list is a 1953 Buick Skylark. I have been hoping to see more Buicks, as until recently they had been very thin on the Matchbox ground. After only having a second Buick ever in the way of a Century Police in 2012 (after the original 1987 LeSabre), we saw a 3rd Buick last year in the Moving Parts range, the 1983 Riviera. So I am very happy to see the brand seeing some more action.

We are also going to see another Hot Rod. They recently tinkered with a classic ’33 Ford Coupe to reinvigorate it for the modern era. But this time they are going to nudge ever so slightly back by creating a 1932 Ford Model B Coupe, which is a hugely popular vehicle for rodders. I look forward to seeing the end result and placing it next to the ’33 for fun.

Mattel has a good relationship with Tesla, and Matchbox has seen a few different models. We had the Model S, we had the Model X, and we also had the Semi for the Convoy series. Now we are getting the 2020 Roadster added to the 2021 range.

Now I want to make this clear. The slide did state 2020, but Matchbox are creating a 2021 Ford Bronco 4-door for the 2021 range. It is a 2021 production vehicle that is going to be included.

Finally, something a little unusual. In 1968 Lesney came out with the Field Car. It ran until 1973 in the basic range, and then returned for a number of twin packs from 1976 until 1980. It even saw a Limited Edition in USA in 1980. Well Mattel, as I have stated, have been looking into the past for inspiration for the future, and for 2021 will be creating an all-new MBX Field Car II. It will be inspired by the original but will be a more modern equivalent. They are really hoping that we will like their vision. I am looking forward to seeing the end result. Will it be yellow? We will have to wait and see. They did mark it down under the licensed area of the slide show, but is it licensed? The original casting was a Matchbox originals.

This brings us to the end of the regular new additions for the 2021 basic range. After this we were told that there will be a refresh to the segmentation of the series. For 2020 the models were split into 6 sub-categories, MBX Highway (purple banded), MBX Jungle (navy blue banded), MBX Countryside (brown banded), MBX City (yellow banded), MBX Mountain (green banded) and MBX Coastal (blue banded). It is still being finalized and we will see the finished idea soon.

We then had a look at the plans for the 2021 5-packs. Currently we are looking at 9 different new packs, with a nod to previous names on some. For instance, we will be seeing a Coffee Cruisers II pack. The models (subject to change as are all models in 5-packs) will be the 1933 Plymouth PC, 1978 Dodge Monaco Police (looking very similar to the Buick from the original Coffee Cruisers pack), 1947 Chevy AD Pickup, 1962 VW Beetle and 1972 Lotus Europa Special. We will be getting an all Ranec liveried pack too in the way of MBX Road Crew. Currently planned models are the 1962 Nissan Junior, Ground Grinder, 1957 GMC Stepside, Drill Digger and Tilt ‘n Tip, all in the traditional Ranec orange and white colour scheme. They know how much we like wagons, (I see plenty of Wagon Wednesday posts on Instagram coming), as they are looking at an MBX Wagons 5-pack with the Audi RS6 Avant, 1971 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser, Cadillac CTS Wagon, 1959 Chevy Brockwood Wagon (roof accessory looking at the luggage section this time) and 1964 Ford Fairlane Wagon. Will they sneak in roof changes to the Brockwood causing people to buy the pack again? Who knows. The MBX Off Road Rally set is scheduled to include the Jeep Wagoneer, 1990 VW Golf Country, Fiat 500X, Baja Bandit and 1968 Dodge D-200 Pickup. These first 4 packs are pretty much all set, and most likely will feature the 20 models listed in them. After that, the other 5 packs are still being worked on so there is more of a scope for swapping out models if required.

There is an MBX City Sedans set. Currently looking at the 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA, Infiniti G37, 2014 Chevy Silverado, 2017 Honda Civic and Cliff Hanger. The last model is most likely being swapped out.

We have an MBX City Crew set. Plans are currently for the 2016 Ram Utility Flatbed, Rescue Helicopter, eStar Electric Delivery Van, Flatbed King and Delivery Postal Truck

Autobahn Express II (another nod to a recent pack) is tentatively looking at the Aston Martin DBS Volante, Lamborghini Gallardo Policia, 1969 Volvo P1800S, Ford GT and Porsche Panamera.

MBX Roadsters may include the 1957 Jaguar XK140 Roadster, 1957 Ford Thunderbird, 2016 Chevy Camaro Convertible, 1963 Austin Healey 3000 Mk2 and 1971 VW-Porsche 914. However, that one will likely go as the roof is up, and they are looking at roof down versions.

Finally, MBX Rescue is possibly slated to include the Ford Explorer Interceptor, Ford F-550 Super Duty, Ram 1500 Police, 2005 Ambulance and Hazard Squad. But as I said, these last 5 packs are all still being worked on, so don’t accept the current included castings as being the ones that turn up in the packs.

We then moved on to 9-packs. For 2020 the Matchbox guys managed to increase the exclusives and you may have noticed that each pack in 2020 has been sporting the same exclusive but in 2 different colours across the 2 packs being released. In 2019 it was expanded from 1 to 2 packs per release, but we still had the same exclusive across both packs. The last 2019 pack, the Jaguar F-type pack was the last like that. Well 2021 will go even further. Each release (still slated for 6 across the year) will now have a different exclusive for each pack.

Mix 1 is currently looking at Cadillac CTS Coupe/1997 Land Rover Defender 110. Mix 2 1956 Ford Pickup/Dodge Challenger. Mix 3 1995 Custom Chevy Van/1993 Ford Mustang LX SSP Police. Mix 4 1971 Chevy Chevelle/Ford F-350 Skyjacker. Mix 5 Toyota Tacoma lifeguard/1971 Pontiac Firebird Fomula. Mix 6 Jeep Wrangler Superlift/Chrysler 300. Please remember that these are not 100% set in stone, so as the year progresses we may see a model or 2 swapped out. We may not. Plans are always fluid with Matchbox, so what is being worked on at this very moment may have an issue and require a delay meaning things get nudged around to accomodate. It happens. It’s what they deal with.

But there is more to it too. There are also plans to add in an additional 3 models to the pair of packs in each release. These are likely to be the same in both packs, but will only be found in 9-packs. Current plans for mix 1will be to have the Honda Insight, Glass King and Dune Dog in the packs in an exclusive version. Mix 2 will be the Ford Panel Van, Two-Story Bus and 1976 Chevy Corvette T-top. Mix 3 will be looking at the Renault Master Ambulance, 1971 Nissan Skyline and 1971 VW-Porsche 914. Mix 4 will possibly include the Ford Transit News Van, Vantom and Rock Shocker in an exclusive design. Mix 5 the 2014 Chevy Silverado, 1969 Chevy Camaro Convertible and Alfa Romeo 4C. Finally, mix 6 could feature the 1994 Chevy Caprice Classic Police, 2019 Ford Mustang GT and Volvo V60 Wagon. Models are all subject to change though, so we may still be surprised when the packs turn up.

After that we moved on the Moving Parts range. The range is growing. For 2020 we had 3 mixes and 4 new tools to add in. For 2021 we have 4 mixes and 6 new tools to add in.

These are the 1963 Honda T360. The plan is to have the front of the vehicle opening up. It is not the engine bay, but is a storage area for spare wheel etc. The engine in this vehicle was accessed by lifting up the seats inside. Yes, it was Honda’s first 4-wheeled vehicle. It was a little unusual, but so cute.

The 2019 Pagani Huayra BC is also going to be in the Moving Parts series. Although initial plans were for 2 opening parts (as noted on the slide show), it will only have an opening rear canopy, in metal.

The 1948 Chevy Suburban Carryall will also be included in the series. This one will feature an opening hood.

We are also going to be seeing a 2020 BMW M4 Cabriolet in the series. Much like the older 3-series cabrio, this will also feature opening doors.

Another new Subi. We are getting a lot of them now. Great work. This one is a cool classic, the 1978 Brat which will sport an opening hood.

Finally, we are going to see the 1988 Chevy Monte Carlo LS in the series too. This one is slated to have opening doors too.

The plan is, as mentioned, to have 4 batches throughout the year. However, each batch will feature up to 6 new additions for a total of 20 models. There will be some carry forwards included in the mixes later too. The current plan is to feature 5 new designs in batch A (2000 Nissan Xterra, 2004 Honda S2000, 2006 Ford Crown Victoria Taxi, 2016 Chevy Camaro and Divco Milk Truck).

Batch B will see the first new tools, with the 1988 Chevy Monte Carlo LS and 2019 Pagani Huayra BC slated to debut there. We will also see new designs for the 1962 Jeep Willys Wagon, 1963 Chevy C10 Pickup and 2018 Range Rover Vogue SE. The Xterra and Crown Vic from batch A are slated to carry forward to batch B too.

Batch C will feature the 2020 BMW M4 Cabrio and 1948 Chevy Suburban Carryall new toolings and will see new liveries for the 1963 Chevy C10 Pickup, 1982 Datsun 280ZX, 2019 Ford Ranger and 2016 Chevy Camaro. Both the Camaro and C10 are different liveries to batches A & B respectively. The Range Rover Voge SE will carry forward from batch B.

Batch D will feature the last new castings in the way of the 1963 Honda T360 and 1978 Subaru Brat. The 2016 Lamborghini Cantenario and 2006 Ford Crown Victoria will be in all new liveries and 2 models will be carried from batch B into this batch. The Pagani Huayra BC and 1963 Chevy C10 Pickup (first 2021 version). Of course things are subject to change, so we may see tweaks as the year progresses.

There will be more themed assortments in 2021. Walmart will be receiving 2 batches of Cadillac and 2 batches of Work Trucks (6 models in each batch). However, unlike 2020 were batch A is followed by batch B for Mustang, and then Off Road will be A followed by B later, in 2021 they will be alternating the themes. Cadillac A will be followed by Work Trucks A, then we will get Cadillac B and Work Trucks B later in the year.

As they always do, they are sneaking in a brand new casting into the Walmart exclusives. This time it will be the 1975 Cadillac Eldorado in Cadillac batch A. But they are sneaking in something else too.

The 1941 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible will feature the hood up in batch A. The other 4 slated for batch A are the 1963 Cadillac Ambulance (the later tooling before anyone asks), 2015 Cadillac Escalade, 1969 Cadillac Sedan DeVille and Cadillac CTS Coupe.

Work Trucks batch A will be the next batch released and will feature the 1995 Nissan Hardbody (D21), Subaru Sambar, 1975 Chevy Stepside, 2016 Chevy Colorado Xtreme, 2008 Holden Ute SSV and 1935 Ford Pickup. These are classed as Spring A and Spring B for Walmart.

Then we move to Fall A and Fall B. Cadillac will return, with new versions of the 2015 Cadillac Escalade and 1969 Cadillac Sedan DeVille. We also will have the Cadillac CTS Wagon, 1955 Cadillac Fleetwood, Cadillac One (hoping it will be pink, I don’t know why, but I bet it will be charcoal), and the 1941 Cadillac Type 62 Convertible (this time with the top down as already seen with the 2020 basic range debut).

Work Trucks batch B will finish off the year with the Jeep Willys Pickup, 1962 Nissan Junior, 1970 Chevy El Camino, 1963 Ford Ranchero and 1957 GMC Stepside joinging the returning 1995 Nissan Hardbody (D21) in a new design. Of course, as always, things are subject to change, so don’t take these models as 100% gospel of what to receive. Just the themes are set at the moment.

But as we now know, Target are joining the exclusives train, and are about to launch the Retro series. The plan is for 2 sets in 2020, but in 2021 they will see 4 batches of Retro models throughout the year. These will be a mix of ideas. We could see new models sporting liveries inspired by ones from yesteryear, we could see some classic castings return that haven’t been used in a few years, or just some cool models in looks that are inspired by bygone times.

Plans for batch A are the Mitsubishi Eclipse, VW Transporter Crew Cab, 1971 Nissan Skyline, Chevy K-1500 Pickup, 1972 Ford Bronco 4×4, Jeep 4×4 and 1963 Cadillac Ambulance.

The current plan for batch B is the 1970 Datsun 510 Rally, Foam Fire Truck, 1971 Pontiac Firebird Formula, Jeep Cherokee Police, 1995 Custom Chevy Van, Lamborghini LM002 and International Armored Truck.

Batch C is tentatively planned to include the 1976 VW Golf Mk1 GTi, Lamborghini LM002, Chevy Van, 1993 Ford Mustang LX SSP, 1971 Chevy Chevelle, VW Beetle 4×4 and Water Hauler.

Batch D is currently looking like including the 1971 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser, Jeep Wagoneer, 1990 VW Golf Country, Urban Tow Truck, VW Beetle 4×4 and 1971 Pontiac Firebird Formula.

Abe also mentioned there are plans underway for some international store exclusives (possibly in Germany and UK at the moment), but things are still being worked on and details will be forthcoming on those as and when things are sorted. We will need to stay tuned to their Instagram page for more information.

This brings us on to the Real Working Rigs. Four batches are scheduled for 2021, each containing 4 models. There may be some carry forwards in the mix too, so don not be surprised to see a model you think you already know appear.

Mix A will feature a brand new casting, in the way of the International Box Truck. We will also see the GMC 3500 Attenuator Truck, Road Grader and Mobile Crane.

Mix B will likely see the International Street Cleaner, International DuraStar 4400 Flatbed, Pierce Velocity 100ft Aerial Platform and Cement King.

Mix C is scheduled to see the other brand new casting, the Front Loading Garbage Truck. Alongside it is scheduled to be at the moment the MAN TGS Flatbed Cargo Hauler, Freightliner Vacuum Truck and International WorkStar Dump Truck.

Mix D is planned to show off the Freightliner Satellite Communication Truck, Crop Sprayer, GMC 3500 Attenuator Truck and Pierce Velocity Quantum Ladder Truck.

We then moved on to an evolution. For 2019/20 we had the premium Matchbox range using the Superfast name. For 2019 it was to celebrate the 50th Anniversary, but they simply carried it on the following year. But for 2021, the plan is to really latch on to the retro vibe with Matchbox Collector.

Although they are still working out the final artwork to things, the idea is that the packaging art and included boxes will have a very “early Lesney” vibe to them and will provide a lot of nods to the bygone eras of Matchbox. The models themselves will still be current castings of vehicles from across the date range. So classic and modern vehicles. They will still all feature additional tampo printing above and beyond what we see in the other ranges, and models will still sport 2-part rubber wheels. There are 5 new castings slated to arrived in the series in 2020.

We are looking at a 1965 Land Rover Series 2 Convertible, with a spare wheel on the front (likely a part of the interior section) and sporting opening doors.

Henry J Gasser is a 1951 custom Hot Rod and Matchbox will be creating it with a tilting forward front body section.

We will be seeing the 2014 Toyota FJ Land Cruiser with opening doors.

As well as a 2019 Nissan GTR with opening doors.

However, although the final model was shown in the preview as going to feature opening doors, Matchbox will in fact be creating the 2014 Mercedes-Benz G500 Cabrio with an opening hood.

Four mixes of 5 models are scheduled over the course of the year for a total again of 20 (easy to remember as both Moving Parts and the Collector series are scheduled for 20 models) and remember that not all models specifically will have opening parts. That is not a requirement of the Matchbox Collector series.

Mix A is looking to include the brand new 1965 Land Rover Convertible alongside the 1969 BMW 2002, 1963 Chevy C10 Pickup, 2016 Lamborghini Centenario and BMW i8.

Mix B is aiming to include the new Henry J Gasser tooling, alongside the Porsche 550 Spyder, 2019 Ford Ranger, 1962 VW Beetle and Mercedes-Benz G-Class G550.

Mix C is hoping to have the new 2015 Toyota FJ casting alongside the Divco Milk Truck, 1932 Ford Pickup, 2004 Honda S2000 and 1962 Mercedes-Benz 220SE.

Mix D will aim to include the final 2 new castings, the Mercedes-Benz G500 Cabrio and Nissan GTR, alongside the GMC Scenic Cruiser, 1964 Pontiac Grand Prix and 2016 Alfa Romeo Giulia.

Then we got into something above and beyond even the Collector series. In 2021 Matchbox will be launching a brand new website for the collector. Details will be passed on through the @matchboxworld Instagram account, and will be duplicated here to make people aware of what it is, how to get into it, and what to do. As part of the website will be about receiving exclusive items. There are currently plans for 10 exclusive items to be released through the site next year, with the first being the MB694 Routemaster Double Decker bus. Each item is scheduled to be mounted on a plinth, which will be put in a plexi-case, larger than the regular plexi-cases used for promotional items at the moment. Four different base designs are being created for the plinths, and a background will be added to create a diorama for the model. We may even see a brand new casting debut in the series, although that (as with most things) is still TBD.

They then moved on to Skybusters. They showed the package refresh.

This could give us an indication on how the packaging for other series may start to tweak towards, although the basics will still show each model in the artwork as they have done recently.

There will be 3 new castings for the 2021 range. A licensed P38 Lightning and 2 originals, Bubble Helicopter and MBX Crop Duster.

There are currently 4 Mixes scheduled for the year, and although subject to change (as always) are currently looking like….

Mix A – Cessna Caravan, Sea Arrow, Chinook SB147, Super Hornet F/A 18E, Airliner, Biplane, MBX Enemy Strike Jet and the new MBX Cop Duster tool.

Mix B – Airbus A400M, Esplorer Helicopter, Cessna Caravan, Space Shuttle, P51 Mustang, Boeing AH-64 Apache, and the other 2 new tools, Bubble Helicopter and P38 Lightning.

Mix C – MBX Private Jet, Hypersonic Jet, Rescue Helicopter, Rutan Boomerang and Cessna Citation X.

Mix D – Twin Engine Blaze Buster, Dream Chaser, Boeing 747-B, Northrup Grumman B2 and Blade Force.

Finally Abe reminded us of the fact that they still have the license for Jurassic World.

The Dominion film is currently slated to be in cinemas next summer and Matchbox will tie in with a new range of models again. They are hoping to get quite a lot of content out there for the film but at the moment there is no specifics that they can pass on. But stay tuned, hopefully as time gets close we will hopefully have more information on just what will be coming our way next summer.

But we will definitely be seeing a nice selection of items to tie in with the film again. I can’t wait to see and collect those.

Finally for those who like to create customs, they did inform us that due to circumstances the 2020 custom contest had to be cancelled. However, they are already working on plans for next year, so for those who enjoy customizing, keep your paintbrushes out. You have a year to come up with something extraordinary.

And that was a wrap on the line preview. However, Abe was able to show us a brief glimpse of the models as they currently are in the way of mock-ups and pre-production stages.

If you want to see the models in closer view, John Lambert will be having Abe showcase them all later this week as part of an Instagram Live Interview on Wednesday July 22, at 7pm PST on the @lamleygroup IG feed. They will be really going in-depth on all the new models for 2021, and should be a good watch. Of course I will be fast asleep as it will be the middle of the night where I am, but will be watching Thursday.
