Why I am featuring it: This casting is amazing and led to me discovering a long gone line of diecast which is Ertl American Muscle. This casting was in the first release of Racing Champions mint since Round2 revived the brand. However, before this Racing Champs release came to be it was found in the Ertl American Muscle series. This casting is unique in that it has both an opening hood and trunk. It also has a plastic base that has separate parts for the fuel tank, exhaust and some suspension parts. These parts cover up the screws that hold the casting together. It is very detailed and if you like it you will like the many other Ertl American Muscle castings.
