Where to get it: easy to find on eBay but I got mine from Lamley partner Modelmatic, an invaluable place for collectors in the UK.
Why I am featuring it: I mean look at it. The ’73 Mach 1 might not be high up anyone’s list of dream Mustangs given it’s got competition from the likes of the Boss 429, GT350H and a certain 1968 Fastback in Highland Green. But in this colour with those dog dish hubcaps? It looks the part and it hooked me. If I was lucky enough to own a real Mach 1 this is exactly how I’d want one. For now I’ll settle with this.
