At least I got it posted before Hot Wheels Nationals.
Last October, I held another Lamley DLM Party at the Hot Wheels Convention in Los Angeles. The premise is simple. Bring something significant to open (RLC, Convention Model, Super), open it, get a ticket, and possibly win a prize.
Quite a few folks came, and they brought the heat. From the BRE 510 to an RLC antifreeze Silverado and everything in between, there was a ton of carnage. One model that fell victim to the DLM craze as well was the RLC Urban Outlaw Porsche 964. Yeah, the one going on sale next week.
Designer Brendon Vetuskey, who is designing many of the models for RLC In 2019, brought a sample with him to open and preview for the attendees. The case took a beating, and the model garnered a ton of attention. It was awesome to see, and film.
But that also meant I couldn’t post the video publicly. Since the release date hadn’t been determined, it had to stay a little treat until the date had been secured.
Well, the sale date is finally set, and that means I can post the video, Porsche carnage and all. A huge thanks to the Brendon and Julian from the Design Team for coming, and especially to all of you who attended and brought such incredibly items to open.
