Cars from times, before tinted windows became a fashion, shouldnt have tinted windows! Like the Chevy Impala station wagon, now like the Land Rover! Plus, both share those strange roofs! Why doesnt the roof just have a open skylight, to hold, or release the boat, or camping supply on the roofrack?! It would look decent, both ways, with and without the load! As those plastic parts tend to get lost, if played with by kids, they’d enjoy a decent car, roof open, instead of a weird strange black plastic part.
I have heard that Matchbox are not distributing models in the UK just recently, which means I am having trouble buying some of the latest models. It’s so disappointing, especially as there are a lot of good models in the recent selections. Any reason why?
I’m also like you WHY?….. Sadly no answers…. Or what?….for the future of matchbox in its home origins?…. It was this this time last year Asda started UK on D case….. Sadly strangled to NOTHING and NOWHERE to buy!…. A media outlet I think would be a great idea.!!!… David Tilley?.. ?…..?.. You carry a torch at Mattel and media?!…. As another collector says James may?!…. He’s the toy man!!… Hopefully this is a distribution spat …. Mattel doesn’t tell anyone anything. … There seems to be no hurry to stock elsewhere.. Where is our 2019 stock what could have been destined to Asda?! …..Which country has it?… How sad this brand has been dragged down in always…. An answer would be good?!……..
I agree. It is a great disappointment that we can’t get Matchbox in the UK at the moment, especially after some great models in recent years, which obviously meant good sales. I have seen some great models online recently and sadly, I am unable to buy them.
Same!.. Out of reach and price!.. Then again Mattel makes most of their products for the USA market only. At good prices. How much MORE would we pay over here if most of the products ever made it to UK?!… We were paying 2\3 times more just for a basic mbx!!. Out of our one box per 250,000 scenario exclusive Asda gave and Mattel poorly made happen!…….Sadly the 65th and current 50th line up Mattel are celebrating for us at the moment well…… Poor old matchbox has been bounced around!… It deserves such more. Mattels yo yo !!! As long as the other and others are ok!!!……..👍😀
