The Hot Wheels 50th celebration has bled into 2019, but I don’t think anyone will complain.
On January 15h, the RLC Exclusive Super TH set will be made available for purchase to RLC Members. It will be priced at $199 and like every year produced in low numbers.
Mattel has done this set with special packaging for the last few years. And while the packaging has always been nice, for 2018 the set goes next level. Julian Koiles, famous for his Car Culture card art, took on the project, and it is absolutely stunning.

Would have been nice if they had included the Bone Shaker in this set.
Any idea of price?
Set goes for $199, which is a bargain actually comparably to Omline pricing.. and also because you get the awesome gas pump arrangement!
Last year, the set went for $199, but you just received basic packaging. This set is way nice .. it’s almost like the Originsl 16 set where you get the cars, but you also get unique packaging which should be considered an investment, if you will!
I have to admit though.. looking at the whole set, that Fiat 500 would have been better if it had a better color combo, like say silver paint with blue or red wheels, or red paint with chrome wheels or anything like that! Wasn’t digging it!
Oh, and you get one extra car (not shown), which is a gift!
