Video is done, now time for the pics. Let’s start with the Hot Wheels Forza card art.

As expected, the response to the new Forza Motorsports set in the Hot Wheels Entertainment line has been, let’s say, positive.  The talk will be the Silvia, but there isn’t a weak model in the group.  So each model deserves a photo showcase, and those are coming.

For now, let’s focus on the card art.  Julian Koiles, the Car Culture art guru, is the one to credit here, and that isn’t a surprise.  There is surely a Car Culture vibe to the art, with a theme running through all five models, and that perfect “sunset” touch to make it far more interesting.  I don’t think there will be a special boxed set for these – that was a TRU thing – but I wish there were.  Still, Julian seems the only one that makes me keep a carded set, AFTER I open the first.

  1. Does anyone know if this will be available in a box set like the 2017 and 2016 Forza series? IIRC the boxes were sold at TRU…maybe someone else will pick them up?
