There is new Mattel-sponsored Hot Wheels account on Instagram, but this one is a little different:

Yeah, that is the Hot Wheels Cycling Team, made up entirely of Mattel employees, many of whom work on the cars you and I collect. And right now they have left their desks to get out and ride their bicycles (put the Queen song in your head, didn’t I?). And it is all being documented on Instagram.
They are currently riding through Central California as part of the Chefs Cycle for No Kid Hungry campaign to end child hunger. It is a special ride to raise money and awareness for this special charity.
And we can be a part. Each participant has a fundraiser goal, and it would be cool for the collector community to join in. I have seen this numerous times before: collectors from all over the world coming together to help a good cause, and this most certainly is one.

Their goal is $20,000, and collectors can definitely be responsible for a chunk of that. So read about the event, and donate whatever you can.
