We are determined to create a little buzz about what Matchbox was, and what it can become again, so our series on the last Golden Age of Matchbox starts this week. We have a ton of models lined up to be featured, but wanted to know which of these two we should feature first:
Porsche 911 GT3
Audi R8
Both debuted in 2007, both have received multiple colors and wheels, and both are fantastic castings. We plan on showing all versions.

And the R8 for me. I love it.
As much as a Porsche fan boy as I am.. which is a lot. I grab every Porsche I can find. I'm gonna Say the Audi r8. Its a pretty car, and I had the Pleasure of seeing one real life the other day, and in front of me, it really is gorgeous. That and even I'll admit the 911 has Many many many versions, wear as the r8, only a few. And it's only just hitting its second gen (which is amazing looking) and there for a bit more unique. Sorry 911. I still love you.

Porsche gets my vote, actually just to see what variations I am missing.
I would vote for the R8. I love those Matchbox rims. My favorite rims for a $1.00 car.

um, my vote goes to the R8! I just think that it is a better casting. Plus, the black and white recolor is one of my favorites. Add another point onto the R8 team.

R8 Porshe is so comon Audi is scarce.
I do not think we will ever see MB be as spectacular as it once was in the hands of Mattel. It truly makes me resent HW sometimes cause I know as some of you do HW is casting models it never used to and they are models MB dose best. HW has taken many models from other companies including Majorette. I love HW but I find myself wishing they would just turn some models away.
