Lamley Poll: What the Best Hot Wheels Zamac Exclusive so far?

There has now been 30 Walmart Zamacs released in the last two years, with still a few more to come in 2014.

These unpainted treats have proven very popular, and Hot Wheels has delivered with a great assortment of models for all types of collectors.  We see classics, muscle, supercars, JDM, current cars, land yachts, pickups, and on and on.  What we haven’t seen, and are keeping our fingers crossed that we don’t, are any non-licensed models or Hot Wheels originals.

So to us, the Zamacs have been a rousing success, and we hope Walmart and Mattel have made a deal to keep them coming in 2015.

In the meantime, we thought we would conduct a poll.  Before the Nissan Skyline 2000GT-X hits in Batch N, which will be an obvious favorite for many Lamley readers, we thought we would ask.

So, below are photos of all 30 released so far, shown in numerical order as provided by Mattel.  Look to your right and you will see the poll.  Let is know which one is your favorite by voting.  Later we will reveal your choice and ours.

This should be fun…

  1. So 2013 and 2014, eh? For me, I wouldn't choose any of the Chevys, but for me I like the Ferrari and going in for it. But I know the Ferrari isn't going to win this, because it is the Datsun. I just know it.

  2. the green looks great w/ the silver, so I vote firebird. charger daytona a close second, purple passion 3rd

  3. Just my opinion, but I don't understand the appeal of no paint. Can someone sway my opinion by giving their reason for liking this? That being said, I'm a big fan of the Datsun 240z. (once it's modified with equal size wheels) So that is my pick.

  4. I call this my own mission. I'm going for the Lambo Aventador J, '10 Camaro SS, Classic Normad, and '68 Shelby. But my big picks are: Ferrari F12Birlinetta, Datsun 240Z, '67 Ford Mustang coupe, '69 Merc Cougar Eliminator. Period.

  5. The only problem with this series is that they are not true ZAMACS. ZAMACS of early days had no paint at all. The new series has paint on them (Decos). Don't get me wrong… I like them but they are not true ZAMACS. popthings 🙂
