We love wheel variations, and we have just learned of another…
It looks like the Hot Wheels ’70 Chevelle SS in purple, which is part of Batch G, is coming on two different shoes. It was one of the first-to-market models in the Kmart cases, and all of them, as far as we know, sat on MC5 wheels, as shown in an earlier Lamley post:
But now comes word from our friends at Wheel Collectors that that some of the G Cases they received had Chevelles with PR5 wheels:
Some Chevelles in the Wheel Collectors cases had MC5 wheels, so at this point we have no idea which variation will be harder to find. Time will tell. At this point we can say we want both. Or all three, if you found the Super TH.

I gotta say, like the MC5's the best.
MC5's. Well those PR5's don't look so bad though, only because PR5's for me don't fit on any Chevelles.
Meh, PR5's don't look as good, but the casting & purple paint are great so I'm sure the vari will be well received by it's dedicated collectors.
