As is the Custom: Our faves for the week ending October 26th, 2013…

Some of you may be popping on to see the remaining police customs from the Lamley Police Custom Contest.  We promised we would show them, but we want to give them their due during the week.  So just as we announced the winners on a weekday, we will do the same for those that put in the work.  You will not be disappointed…

In the meantime, we got a load of submissions this week.  Many of you have been very busy it appears, and the results are mind-blowing.  I think many will agree this is a great week for very interesting customs.

Be sure to submit your customs by way of email (lamleygroup@gmail.com), our Facebook page, or Instagram (hashtag your photo #lamleycustoms) to ensure that we will see them.

Enjoy…

  1. Harry J. if you are here: Could you please point me to the source of the office furniture and figurines? I recognize the Greenlight garage equipment, but not these. Thanks in advance!

  2. Did I mention Harry J's Datsun cars were in a garage full of Greenlight equipment? If you have Greenlight equipment, you should also show some customized Greenlight models like nobody does. Oh, Umm, I was speaking to Harry J Johny boy (That's my friend's nickname. Should I call you that nickname?) …

  3. Oi, mi777ke777, is that a Playart S600? I also have one lying around waiting to be restored, if it is that came out great!

The Hakosuka funny car is also legit.

  4. Thank you for including mine again(need to remember to email in pics on Saturdays) In case anyone wants to know, I did the Mini and the Monster Woody, which I did as a kid about 20 years ago(just recently found it) and yes it was a redline. Things you do as a kid.

  5. Hey Cano that is a S800 Honda. He was missing his window, one of his lights and was smashed flat. It was only .25 cents at the flea market. I couldn't resist. lol Try to get yours done and post it next week. I'd love to see it. I'm sure it would make it!

Awesome collection fellas! I loved the drag Hakosuka and Francisco Diaz's JDM classics. I have one of those MBX Celica's waiting to finish too. Sick cars everyone!

  6. There's some good variety in this week's post! The best one in my mind was the Plymouth Superbird Ranchero Camino (Mass Riezal by USACC Customs). That was one where I stopped saying “wow, that's nice handiwork” and started saying “wow, that's a really amazing looking car.” Now I want to build my own.

The Willys MB customs by @Ran55 are just getting better and better. Somebody has needed to put a hardtop one one of those since it came out.

Garbage truck…Wagoneer-turned-Gladiator…Rusted Mustang diorama…I could go on, but it just comes down to this: great customs this week!

  7. @mrsenctvt Datsun has a great paint style. Would love to see more of that. And the lowered Gasser by @a_r_n_e_l was a bit of a shock. Never thought of it and suddenly the rear wheels looks totally weird.
