We just got word from Felix over at Daboxtoys that three highly anticipated OEM Factory sets (Ferrari 458 GT2, Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, and Lamborghini LP670-4 SV) have just arrived and are available for purchase.
Honestly, these models have to be seen to be believed. Felix told me he thinks the Ferrari 458 GT2 is one of the best 1:64 scale models he has seen in years, and pegged the white with black top as his favorite. I personally agree with him, so that is why I reserved one for me.
And the two Lamborghinis are amazing as well. The Aventador appears to be far superior to the Kyosho version that was released a few months ago, and the SV is simply stunning.
One caveat though. Daboxtoys did not get their entire order, so they are in very limited quantities. All three appear to be selling out quickly, so I would jump on it now.
We know that Hot Wheels collectors see the price tag and shudder just a bit, but please trust us when we say these models are well worth the price. We put the OEM models up with Tomica Limited Vintage as the most realistic in 1:64 scale.
Maybe buy one of each set (and take advantage of Daboxtoy’s very fair shipping prices from Hong Kong), just to see what you get. You won’t be disappointed.
