Model of the Day: Pagani Huayra promotional exclusive made in the Kyosho factory…

I don’t even know where to start with this one…

Last week we showed our first Kyosho model, the KPGC10 Skyline, and then yesterday introduced our new partner, Daboxtoys Model Cars, a Kyosho seller.  And that was just the beginning.  Since I first looked at a Kyosho 1:64 model in person I was sold, and I am looking forward to adding a whole lot more.

Kyosho is a Japanese brand, and has done a ton of Japanese cars.  You saw the Skyline, and soon will see a classic Honda.  But they will take on any carmaker.  Look at a list and you will see Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, and on and on.  If you like any of these makers, I don’t know if there are any 1:64 replicas better than Kyosho.  Maybe Tomica Limited Vintage, but that is it.

And exhibit A of that statement is the new 1:64 Pagani Huayra.  All you have to do is look at the pics, and see the amazing attention to detail, including the red seats inside.  My favorite detail?  The side mirrors, done in soft plastic so they won’t inevitably break off if the model is removed from the plexiglass case.  And the mirrors are even painted.

EDIT:
After all that I just learned this is technically not a Kyosho.  Made in the Kyosho factory by the same people, but done for Pagani.  Felix at Daboxtoys just let me know.  It says Kyosho on the base of the case, but not a Kyosho.  Go figure.

This is one of 12 1:64 Huayra models done in different colors as a promo for Pagani.  Every one of them is available at Daboxtoys right now:

I would grab one or all before they are gone, and remember to take advantage of the Lamley Group discount by using the codeword “Lamley” at checkout.  You won’t be disappointed.
