It has been awhile since Matchbox has done a motorcycle. They just did one.
As far as motorcycles go, I like it. But I have not collected any of the Hot Wheels bikes, and I will walk the same path with this one. I love that they did it for variety’s sake, but it will look a little out of place next to the other Matchbox Police vehicles in the collection. I am not a scale nut, but a motorcycle that is bigger than a Dodge Monaco doesn’t really work for me.
Actually, maybe I will keep this one. I do like white BMW’s with the signature red and blue trim. No, it is too big and I don’t like motorcycles.
(Why don’t you enjoy the pics while I continue this internal argument. Don’t you hate it when that happens?)

How big? Is a scale printed on the chassis somewhere? If it's 1/24-1/25 it could make a great accessory for plastic model car kit builders…

The casting looks good. It's just a shame about the very ordinary printing quality.
This looks very Hot Wheels, as their bikes are done the same way. I think the fat wheel on the back is an elegant solution for small-scale motorcycles, though, so it's a nice thing to "copy". I imagine the same designer at Mattel makes both MB and HW bikes.I will get this casting. Not a motorcycle fan by any means, and I know little about them, but the thing looks nice and I think our Carabineros used them too. It will be easy to paint it white and green when it arrives to our stores.Is the body plastic and the seat metal? Is the opposite way in my HW's Harley-Davidson. Is the Matchbox logo cast anywhere? The HW doesn't even have room for the country of origin!
