This is one of those that is the epitome of the “cool little model”.
I was chatting with a collector friend today, and mentioned how much I have loved the direction Hot Wheels has gone the last few years. It seems every batch yields another cool model that may not have been made a few years ago. I was talking to him about the Japanese models we have seen, but I think the Ken Block Ford Fiesta is another great example.
Just think about it. The Fiesta follows the Focus RS from a couple of years ago, which this year is a Super Hunt, just like the Honda S2000, which debuted last year, just like the Hakosuka and Kenmeri Skylines did. Yeah, a run-on sentence, but you get the point. It is great to be a Hot Wheels collector these days.
And in a series that does not generate a lot of excitement from me, this Fiesta is an exception. She’s a looker…
